Field Wood Lacrosse Stick handmade by Justin Skaggs. All of his sticks are made from Hickory trees he cuts in Northern Pennsylvania. Each stick is handcrafted over the course of many months.
Pockets are often overlooked on classic wooden sticks. Skaggs uses his 16 years of stringing experience to mold a handspun pocket that is broken in and ready to enjoy. He prefers to use a traditional rawhide gutwall, which is sourced from a family farm in central PA. The head is laced with a softly braided bootlace that has taken many years to find.
As noted in the name, this model is made for Field Lacrosse. Field wood lacrosse sticks feature a wider head which makes for easier catching and similar feel to modern heads.
"Everything here is handmade in my woodshop, so I need a few days to process things. Engravings will add additional time. Likely 48 to 72 hours. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions."
